Our Online Gratitude & Growth Journal
Grateful for friends’ birthday wishes.
I’m thankful that I’ve found the courage to get out of my comfort zone and seek new communities in which I can find and create new friendships, get curious about new ideas, use support systems, and engage in inspiring conversations.
I’m grateful for my brain that allows me to excel in times of tight deadlines.
Grateful to have new support to clear some of the workload and allow me time to enjoy longer walks and, in the past few days, the early and unexpected snow.
I’m grateful for my flexibility and knack for creating opportunities.
I was able to spend time with my grands and great-grands over the weekend … such a blessing!
Grateful for warm drinks on cool days.
I am grateful to work with wonderful people in delightful locations—a new client face:face in front of a roaring log fire in an old oak-panelled room in an historic hotel on a cool day could not have been better.
Every time I am on a two hour Get Stuff Done Buddy session, I am profoudly grateful that I address the things that would normally have me hiding under the bed!
Grateful that my grandson came over yesterday and helped me rake the whole yard and then this a.m. the vacuum truck came through …in less than 24 hours all the leaves are gone!
I’m grateful for having an abundance of choices and opportunities. While it can seem daunting at times, having them is a wonderful thing.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to housesit my “second home” and dogsit for my dog-niece while friends are away.
I’m grateful for all the bird calls outside the open door behind me as I work. And for the temperate weather that allows the open door!
- I was grateful to see a white dusting on frost on the grass for my early morning walk. It made me feel alive and brought a brightness to the day.
- Grateful today that I took a 15-minute walk—a practice I have neglected for too many weeks and hope to make a habit again.
- I am deeply grateful for the sun and how it is always there free of charge.
- I’m grateful for my dog.
- I’m grateful for sunshine and mild weather!
- The copper coloured carpet of crunchy crisp leaves are a joy to walk through and kick up like we did when we were children. Wonderful to see and take the time to enjoy…all too soon they will be gone for another year as the grip from the fingers of winter tightens.
- I’m grateful for amazing neighbors who will be looking after my beloved kitty while I’m in Europe.
- I’m grateful that I can now walk a mile after hip surgery in March.
- Today I’m grateful that I have a wonderful family who not only TALK about loving each other but who make efforts to SHOW that they love each other!
- I am grateful for this cute puppy I am dog-sitting for currently, as well as for the ability to work from anywhere, which makes this all possible.
- On this coworking day, I began updating my website, a task I have avoided for YEARS! If I were on my own, I’d have walked away from these challenges hours ago! Thanks to my accountability buddies, I’ve made progress!
- I’m grateful for a strong, healthy body. And for a business I can do from anywhere!
- Grateful to being working freelance so I have the flexibility to enjoy a day mid week with my niece, have a lovely lunch, walk and a great catch up.
- Freelancing can be lonely, so I’m grateful to have coworking buddies to interact with, especially on distressing days like today!
- Grateful for all of you. Also grateful that it quit raining and the sun is shining — and that the election is over and that I (probably) don’t have to stay up late editing any more time-sensitive election stories for a while!
- Grateful that we have coworkers who help keep our feet to the fire for the activities we aim to achieve 😊
- I’m grateful for family bonds that endure beyond our differences in politics.
- I’m grateful that I have a new client project to work on today.
- I am deeply grateful for the practice of yoga. Every day I go to the mat, it meets me with what I need for that day.
- Happy to have both a dental appointment and dental benefits for our son with a disability.
- Thankful for a snuggly kitty.
- On an early morning walk by the river, 8 swans flew in formation just above the water. The sound of their wings beating…I was so close I could hear their breathing. Magical.
- Grateful for my relationship with my son as he matures and creates his life.
Keep Pushing Forward!

“I’m always amazed at how much more willing I am to be accountable to someone else than to myself.”
Barbara Hemphill
“This is such an anchor for me! Without it, I just float through the day and don’t get much done.”
Berry Kruijning
“If I hadn’t been here and told everyone I was going to work on my taxes, I would have just been watching TV.”
